Sizers

We’ve created our Sizers to be different. The MMD Mineral Sizer™ is a modern approach to crushing, producing an accurate well-shaped product, minimal fines and methodically efficient breaking.

What sets the Sizer apart is its large scrolling teeth. This unique feature allows the machine to grip large pieces of material and expose its natural weaknesses, chopping effortlessly. To put that into perspective, it provides a breaking efficiency of approximately 10 times better than many other crushers.

As the large teeth rotate, broken material falls into pockets. These predefined teeth pockets get progressively smaller as the material is pulled down through the machine.

The last part of the efficient 3 stage breaking action sees the rotating teeth chop through the fixed breaker bar, creating a product size and shape that is controlled in all three dimensions.

Whether it is primary, secondary or tertiary crushing, dump fed or metered, our sturdy, versatile Sizers have been expertly designed to handle many different materials and throughput capacities. Not only are Sizers insensitive to soft, wet and sticky material, but they can also process hard, abrasive rock either separately or combined.
