Gaining flow measurement inside a pipe can sometimes be tricky. The DFM 6.1 Doppler Flow Meter, and PDFM 6.1 Portable Doppler Flow Meter work as non-contacting, clamp-on flow meters. The Doppler technology used in these instruments make them perfect for use as water flow meters, specifically for difficult liquids, or liquids with suspended solids such as wastewater, slurries, sludge, chemicals, viscous liquids, and abrasives. The non-invasive doppler ultrasonic flow meter fits a pipe 12.5 mm (0.5 in) inside diameter or larger, and clamps to the outside of the pipe, gaining flow measurement readings without interrupting the process.
