Tyres are typically the second-highest operating cost on a quarry site after fuel, yet they are often treated as consumables rather than managed assets. Our tyre contracts are designed to change that mindset by creating a structured, data-led approach that improves uptime, extends tyre life and delivers predictable costs.

At the core of every contract is a tailored maintenance schedule aligned to your site’s working pattern. Inspections are planned around downtime to avoid disruption. This is supported by tyre-tracking software that records each tyre’s full lifecycle, including inspections, pressure checks and rotations. This data enables proactive maintenance, better forecasting and improved stock control, reducing emergency tyre purchases.

Tyre pressure management is essential to performance and cost control. Even small pressure variations can shorten tyre life, increase fuel use and cause heat damage. Our technicians ensure every tyre runs at optimum pressure for maximum efficiency and durability.

Lifecycle management is also included. Tyres are assessed for retreading at end of life, with many OTR casings safely remoulded for a second use at lower cost. Non-viable tyres are disposed of responsibly in line with UK environmental regulations.

We offer three contract options. 

1. Fully Managed Accounts provide a dedicated account manager, streamlined communication, faster response times, bulk purchasing savings and improved decision-making through historical data.

2. Pay Per Hour Contracts use a fixed “tyre bank” model where you only pay for tyre wear used. A single hourly rate covers tyres, fitting, labour, inspections, maintenance and repairs, protecting against price rises and removing stock management.

3. Pay As You Go offers maximum flexibility, giving access to expert services only when required, supporting cash flow and changing operational needs without fixed commitment.
