Ward Power Limited is a Sheffield-born manufacturer with 70 years of British engineering excellence. It all started when Thomas W Ward started delivering coal in a hand cart around Sheffield to building our first generating sets in 1956, we've been solving power challenges with ingenuity and determination for decades.

The company specializes in the design and manufacture of bespoke diesel generators across a wide kVA range, alongside natural gas generators, bunded fuel tanks, and control and power panels. Wardpower also delivers integrated solutions including solar PV systems, supported by in-house testing, installation, commissioning, and aftersales service.

Our core mission is to support the European rental sector with a broad range of compliant, high-performance power solutions designed for the demanding operational environments of hire fleets.
