SRL is making its Hillhead debut with the presentation of a portfolio of mobile intelligent transport system (ITS) solutions to improve quarry safety.
The patented, award-winning Haul Route PLUS improves safety at plant crossings while promoting the efficient flow of traffic. The only crossing solution integrating adaptive detection technology, it incorporates traffic signals that respond to the actual flow of quarry vehicles rather than operating to timings set to accommodate the slowest plant.
Durable RiseMaster HE fully autonomous solar powered automatic boom barriers (patent pending) have recently been incorporated into the solution, featuring dual-aspect panels designed to maximise solar performance while minimising maintenance requirements.
Within quarry perimeters, barriers can be used in conjunction with full-colour, high resolution VMS, signals, CCTV and ANPR to promote on-site safety.
All products feature a robust design to guard against accidental damage and have been created to perform reliably in harsh weather conditions.
