Our Roots
Our story begins in 1969, in Northern Ireland. It was here that co-founders, Jim Lappin and Bertie Pickering, began manufacturing agricultural equipment in a humble domestic garage and Craigavon Engineering (now Rapid) was born. A lot has changed over the last fifty years, but our commitment to producing the highest quality equipment has not. Today, still family-owned and operated, Rapid International is a leading mixing technology manufacturer to the global concrete, paving, construction, environmental and recycling industries.

Our Capabilities
Every Rapid product is designed by our in-house team of expert design engineers, using the latest 3D design software. Each machine is produced in our 65,000 square foot purpose-built factory. We invest heavily in our manufacturing capabilities and have the very latest equipment, including a £1M paint booth and shot blasting room.
