We are the Institute of Explosives Engineers, a membership organisation promoting the highest standards of excellence in the explosives industry.

Encouraging liaison and raising explosives industry standards. The Institutes aim is to be the organisation that establishes and oversees National Occupational Standards for the Explosives Industry and to provide a forum that enables and promotes consultation between individuals, professional private organisations, government departments and armed forces experts within the explosives industry.

Supporting member’s professional development. The Institute actively supports and encourages our members in their professional development by providing mentoring for those seeking professional registration. From this network, we pair our candidates with experienced explosives engineers who stand ready to advise and assist during your journey to professional registration.
