The British Aggregates Association

Stand: PC15

The British Aggregates Association (BAA) is proud to be exhibiting at Hillhead 2026, representing the UK’s independent quarrying and aggregates sector.
As the voice of SMEs in the industry, the BAA works closely with Government, regulators, and key stakeholders on issues that matter most to operators, including planning, health & safety, transport, environmental policy, and the future sustainability of mineral supply.
Hillhead 2026 will also mark the launch of the BAA’s new 5C’s Health & Safety Strategy, a renewed industry commitment focused on driving meaningful improvements in health and safety performance across the sector. The strategy has been developed to help reinvigorate progress towards the shared ambition of becoming a minimum-harm industry, encouraging collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement throughout quarrying and associated operations.
Visitors to the BAA stand will have the opportunity to learn more about the Association’s policy work, member support services, Assessment of Operating Standards (AOS) Scheme, and how the BAA continues to provide a strong and credible voice for independent operators across the UK.
We'll also highlight our growing member engagement, technical committees, industry events, and networking opportunities, including the BAA Annual Conference and AGM.
Visit the BAA at Hillhead 2026 to discover how we are helping shape a stronger, safer and more sustainable future for the industry.
Working together for a stronger industry.
