Optimum High Voltage Cable Detector

The Optimum High Voltage Cable Detector is designed to help protect operators, site personnel, equipment and operations from the dangers of working near overhead high-voltage power lines.

Ideal for quarrying, construction, aggregates, recycling and heavy plant environments, the system detects the presence of overhead high-voltage power lines up to 100 metres away and provides an audio-visual in-cab warning to alert the operator before the machine gets too close.

With adjustable sensitivity, 11–32V DC operation and a simple plug-and-play design requiring no user calibration, the system is quick to install and easy to operate across a wide range of vehicles and working environments.

The system also includes an auxiliary switching function, allowing external devices to be activated on alarm, along with an auto-resetting mute feature for practical use on busy sites.
