he Shindaiwa Eco400 diesel welder generator is built to provide up to 400A in single operator mode and 2 x 200A of DC welding current in duel operator mode. The machine also offers simultaneous use of welding and 415V / 110v AC auxiliary power. Superior welding performance ensures the machine is compliant with welding all rod types, including gouging up to 8mm carbon electrodes.

The powerful 3.3kVA 110V auxiliary can comfortably power larger power tools including 9 inch grinders and also provides 12kVA of 3 phase power, ideal for powering plasma cutters, inverter welders or compressors. The robust machine can be provided skid mounted, or two wheel road tow trailer for maximum portability. The Eco400 in CV mode is compatible with all OCV driven wire feed units and also features front panel connections for umbilical type wire feed units capable of machine voltage control directly from the feed unit.

The engine driven welder is powered by a Stage 5 emission compliant water cooled Kubota engine ensuring long term reliability and performance with low fuel consumption and emissions. The diesel powered welder generator is also available in full Petro Chemical or Offshore specification at request including approved overspeed valve and ATEX rated stainless steel spark arrestor.
