Slew bearing

Meta Hydraulic manufactures slewing bearings with single or double ball raceways widely used in hydraulic rotations, for low rotational speed applications and high axial loads. Meta slewing bearings are used in a variety of sectors: from industrial applications involving the rotation of machine parts to agricultural applications such as sprinklers and trailers, right through to airport landing gear, and snow cannons. For the production of slewing bearings Meta uses semi-finished rings always available in stock for any standard type. Turning and raceway machining are performed using state-of-the-art CNC machines (vertical lathes) with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 990 mm. This is followed by axial and radial drilling and gear cutting, performed using gear shaping machines that ensure high precision. The production cycle of Meta slewing bearings is completed by heat treatment using best induction hardening machines, which ensure the bearings greater durability and higher load capacity. Finally, Meta slew bearings undergo quality control, carried out in a dedicated, fully equipped laboratory, with specific three-dimensional control machines
