The Quarry Face demonstration area is one of Hillhead's big attractions. Carefully prepared following the blast that took place in April, the area hosts over 35 machines and utilises three benches along an extended length of quarry face.
Being put through their paces will be large excavators and face shovels over 40 tonnes; hydraulic breakers; large wheel loaders; rigid and articulated dumptrucks; crushing and screening buckets; cold planers; jaw crushers, mist cannons and much more…
