Recycleye launch QuantiSort 2.0 AI-powered waste sorting system

Recycleye Ltd Stand: PB49
Recycleye launch QuantiSort 2.0 AI-powered waste sorting system
QuantiSort 2.0 marks a significant advancement in AI optical sorting, integrating smarter recognition, precise ejection and actionable data within a single powerful platform
RECYCLEYE will be presenting QuantiSort 2.0, the latest version of AI-driven optical sorting systems designed for modern waste streams, including WEEE, metals, DMR, and construction and demolition materials.

Building on the success of its predecessor – the QuantiSort 1.0 – the new system integrates improved AI models, higher-resolution sensing, and patented ejection technology to enhance material recognition and sorting accuracy.

The upgraded platform provides increased detail, capable of differentiating between complex materials such as food-grade and non-food-grade plastics, aluminium cans and foil, and even difficult black plastics.

QuantiSort 2.0 also features a redesigned pneumatic ejection system for more precise separation with less contamination, along with durable hardware built to perform dependably in demanding, real-world environments.

The pneumatic ejection bar features the SpiralShield nozzle, which provides increased ejection power, a compact design for simpler maintenance, and durability in harsh conditions. The closely spaced nozzles along the bar allow more precise ejections, reducing the risk of collateral damage. Operating at up to 4.5m/s, the system features the company’s NoRoll technology for high-capacity sorting without requiring strict belt cleanliness.

Designed to operate effectively in dust, moisture, and fluctuating ambient light, the waste sorting system maintains consistent performance where traditional optical sorters often struggle.

A newly developed control interface, combined with an advanced analytics dashboard, provides operators with detailed performance data and compositional insights, delivering a more efficient, data-driven approach to material recovery.

With processing speeds of up to 28 billion calculations per second and double the previous image resolution, the system provides faster decision-making while reducing energy consumption.

Operators also benefit from access to Recycleye’s online analytics dashboard, which offers detailed compositional trends, performance monitoring, and full visibility into plant runtime. Flexible reporting – ranging from minute-by-minute insights to long-term analysis – can be easily exported to Excel or CSV for further evaluation.

QuantiSort 2.0 allows materials recovery facilities to precisely measure sorting performance with the optional TrackEject system, which accurately monitors each material’s ejection zone, providing operators with objective, real-time validation and a deeper insight into their processes.
