NTN Europe to present latest bearing innovations

NTN Europe will return to Hillhead 2026 to showcase a range of bearing and power transmission technologies designed to improve reliability, reduce maintenance requirements, and maximize equipment availability in quarrying and mining applications.

Drawing on the expertise of its SNR brand, the company supplies bearing, sealing, lubrication and housing solutions for a wide range of equipment, including conveyors, crushers, screens, and grinding systems.

A key focus of the stand will be ROX, NTN Europe’s high-performance spherical roller bearing range. Developed for demanding operating conditions, the bearings are designed to deliver extended service life whilst reducing lubrication requirements and maintenance interventions. According to the company, ROX bearings offer at least twice the service life of premium standard ISO bearings and can reduce lubrication consumption by more than 50%.

Hillhead 2026 will also mark the debut of MAGICSLEEVE, a patented bearing sleeve system designed to simplify dismounting operations during maintenance. Intended to provide a faster, safer alternative to conventional bearing sleeves, the system allows bearings to be removed with a standard wrench and can significantly reduce the time and effort required for maintenance.

NTN Europe say MAGICSLEEVE can reduce bearing dismounting times by up to 80% and cut conveyor maintenance downtime by up to 20%, providing operators with a practical solution to improve maintenance efficiency.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to take part in interactive mounting and dismounting demonstrations, offering practical insight into bearing installation and maintenance best practice.

By combining advanced bearing, sealing, lubrication and power transmission technologies, NTN Europe aim to help quarry and mining operators improve equipment reliability and reduce the cost of ownership across critical processing operations.
