McCloskey and AGGPRO unveil new J5 jaw crusher at Hillhead 2026

THE new McCloskey J5 jaw crusher will make its European debut at Hillhead 2026, following a successful launch at Conexpo in Las Vegas earlier this year. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see the machine up-close and explore the latest developments in McCloskey’s jaw crushing technology.

Designed to meet the demands of high-capacity operations, the J5 represents the latest evolution in McCloskey’s jaw crusher range, delivering enhanced productivity, durability, and ease of operation across a wide range of applications. Featuring a robust single-toggle jaw design and an optimized material flow layout, the machine ensures consistent output while reducing the risk of blockages and downtime.

Engineered with a focus on throughput, reliability, and serviceability, the J5 unit incorporates a hydraulic drive system, improved maintenance access, and user-focused design features to help maximize on-site uptime.

Having undergone rigorous testing throughout an extensive demo period, the J5 jaw crusher has performed exceptionally well in real-world applications. Built for the most demanding environments, it offers operators a powerful and efficient solution for primary crushing.

The J5 will also take centre stage in the live demonstration area, where visitors can see the machine in action under real quarry conditions. In addition, a second J5 unit will be available for walkarounds on Stand L1 – hosted by McCloskey’s GB dealer AGGPRO – allowing attendees to explore the machine up-close and speak with experts about its capabilities and applications.

Commenting on the launch, Jane Halfpenny, sales director at McCloskey International, highlighted the significance of Hillhead as a global platform: ‘We have been demonstrating the new J5 in Scotland and England for several months now, and we are extremely happy with its performance. The timing is now perfect to show it operating at Hillhead, so visitors have the chance to see it first-hand.
