Hyundai gear up for Hillhead with Next Generation range

HYUNDAI Construction Equipment will return to Hillhead to showcase their growing range of Next Generation crawler excavators, including the debut of a new model developed specifically for the UK plant hire and rental market.

The machine will be officially unveiled on the company’s stand (Z5) during the exhibition and forms part of Hyundai’s continued investment in next-generation construction equipment.

First introduced at Bauma, Hyundai’s Next Generation excavators combine the manufacturer’s in-house diesel engines with advanced hydraulic systems, enhanced machine-control technology, and a redesigned operator environment focused on comfort, productivity and ease of use.

The range currently includes the HX230, HX260, HX300, HX360 and HX400 crawler excavators. The larger HX300 and HX360 models will be shown in the UK for the first time at Hillhead, giving visitors the opportunity to see the latest additions to the range up close.

All Next Generation machines feature a redesigned premium cab equipped with an advanced 12.8in touchscreen display, improved climate control, enhanced visibility and a range of operator-assistance technologies. Available intelligent functions include Lift Assist, Grade Assist, Auto Stop, Automatic Weighing System and E-Boundary, while Hyundai’s Smart Around View Monitoring (SAVM) system provides 360° machine visibility through six strategically positioned cameras.

Alongside the excavator range, Hyundai will display equipment from their wheel loader, articulated dumptruck (ADT), wheeled excavator and dozer product lines. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the new HX10A Z micro-excavator making its first appearance at a UK exhibition.

Additionally, Hyundai machines will participate in the live quarry face demonstrations throughout the three-day event, including Next Generation excavators, wheel loaders, and the latest HA45A 4x4 ADT.

All of Hyundai’s UK and Ireland dealers will be represented on the stand and the company looks forward to welcoming new and existing customers at the event.
