Hillhead show plant heads straight to work in Switzerland

TEREX Washing Systems (TWS) have celebrated another successful Hillhead exhibition, having sold the FM60C sand recovery plant on their stand to a returning customer in Switzerland.

The show machine was secured during the 2026 event and has already been dispatched to its new home, underscoring continued demand for the company's compact sand recovery technology and the strength of its long-standing customer relationships. TWS thanked Marcel Sommer of Avesco AG for his support throughout the sale, as well as the customer for placing their trust in the company once again.

The FM60C is a compact, static sand recovery unit that integrates a collection tank, a centrifugal slurry pump, hydrocyclones and a high-frequency dewatering screen on a single chassis. Designed for cost- and energy-efficient operation, the system uses centrifugal force to remove clay, silt and slimes from sand, maximizing the recovery of saleable material and producing a high-quality final product.

Suitable for recovering one or two grades of sand, the FM60C features a self-regulating cyclone tank, replaceable rubber-lined pumps and cyclones for extended wear life, and a high-frequency dewatering screen that reduces final product moisture to 10–15%. The all-electric plant is supplied pre-wired for straightforward integration with existing processing equipment.

The sale rounded off a successful Hillhead 2026 for TWS, with the exhibition machine moving directly from the stand into production.
