Hillhead debut for Mantracourt digital sensor module

FIRST-time Hillhead exhibitors Mantracourt have announced that they will unveil the DSM (digital sensor module), a cutting-edge strain-gauge digitizer platform engineered for off-highway and heavy equipment applications.

Replacing legacy CAN-based devices, DSM features a single universal hardware platform with firmware-defined communication, allowing OEMs to configure protocols in software for simplified, flexible deployment across machine platforms.

Built for tough working environments, the DSM operates on 7–32 VDC and delivers high-speed measurements up to 1,000Hz. The DSM converts analogue strain signals into high-resolution digital output, simplifying integration and improving system reliability. Advanced calibration options, including multi-point and polynomial, ensure accurate performance across a wide range of applications.

Available in embedded, card, and enclosed formats, it offers a future-proof sensing solution backed by Mantracourt’s expertise in digital and wireless measurement systems. At launch, the DSM supports FlexiCAN, with J1939 compatibility planned, ensuring alignment with key off-highway communication standards.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the DSM draws on over 50 years of Mantracourt’s experience in precision strain measurement and sensor technology.
