EDGE Innovate Screenpro S16 to make first appearance at Hillhead

EDGE Innovate will use Hillhead 2026 to highlight the latest addition to their screening portfolio – the Screenpro S16 mobile scalping screen. Building on the success of the larger S18 model, the S16 delivers the same reliability, versatility, and performance in a more compact footprint.

Capable of processing up to 600 tonnes/h, the unit features a 4.9m x 1.5m (16ft x 5ft) two-deck screen, providing a generous 14m² screening area with adjustable angles (14–20°) to optimize efficiency and product quality.

This versatility is further strengthened by a wide choice of screen media, including woven mesh, punch plate, finger screens, and bofor (grizzly) decks, helping operators to adapt the machine to a variety of feed materials and required end-product sizes. To meet the demands of recycling applications, the Screenpro S16 can be equipped with overband magnets and magnetic head drums for efficient recovery of ferrous metals.

Engineered for maximum uptime and ease of operation, the Screenpro S16 features intelligent load management, a low-level feed hopper, and a flexible two- or three-way split configuration. Hydraulic folding conveyors and a fully integrated power unit with generous service access further enhance efficiency, maintenance, and overall performance on site.

Remote functionality further enhances operator safety and efficiency, allowing key functions, including tracking, feed conveyor speed adjustment, sequential start-up, and hopper jacklegs, to be controlled from up to 100m away or directly from the loading operator’s cab.

Powered by a Caterpillar Tier 4 Final/Stage V engine, the S16 delivers a reliable, durable, and fuel-efficient screening solution. In line with EDGE Innovate’s sustainability focus, both the S16 and S18 are also available with dual-power and electric-hybrid drivetrains, reducing emissions and delivering CO₂-free operation.
