Con Mech Engineers have expanded their product offering to include BS Track undercarriage systems

CON Mech Engineers will return to Hillhead 2026 with an expanded product portfolio, following a series of new strategic distribution agreements with global manufacturers.

Alongside promoting its own Blademaster range, the company will showcase solutions from newly secured partners, BS Track and Dozco Rock Breakers, further strengthening its offering for quarrying, construction and demolition applications. The new partnerships mark a significant enhancement to Con Mech Engineers’ offerings.

Bernard Nestler, general manager at BS Track, commented: ‘The UK market should have access to undercarriage components made from British steel. Our partnership will allow UK customers to buy high-quality track groups that perform well. Con Mech Engineers is the ideal distributor, given its reputation for supplying high-quality wear parts manufactured in the UK.’

Similarly, NG Bangur, director of Dozco, said: ‘The strategic partnership with Con Mech Engineers aims to expand Dozco’s presence in the UK market and provide customers with access to its high-quality rock breaker range, which focuses on customer satisfaction and cutting-edge technology.

‘Dozco is confident that, by offering its internationally recognized high-quality rock breakers at a highly competitive price and by partnering with Con Mech Engineers – whose commitment to delivering top-notch customer service and vast network perfectly aligns with Dozco's core values – the rock breaker segment will be redefined.’

Blademaster cutting edges, blades, and ground-engaging tools are manufactured in the UK from British steel, delivering improved efficiency, increased productivity, and reduced downtime across demanding applications.

Con Mech Engineers say all aspects of the manufacturing process are carefully controlled to achieve consistent through-thickness hardness and the correct microstructure, resulting in maximum durability and wear performance.

According to technical sales manager Andrew Liddle, achieving uniform hardness throughout the steel plate depends heavily on steel chemistry and precise heat-treatment control. He explained that although some products achieve good surface hardness, performance can diminish towards the centre of the plate if the material and quenching process are not correctly specified.

With more than 15,000 part numbers available in standard and heavy-duty thicknesses, Con Mech Engineers supply wear parts engineered to perform in the most demanding operating conditions. Trusted by OEMs and end-users alike, the company’s products deliver the durability and resilience required to support efficient, productive operations across a wide range of applications.
