Auva spotlight role of ISO certification in quarrying and construction

AUVA will be exhibiting at Hillhead 2026 on stand PA45, where the team will speak with industry representatives about the growing role ISO certification is playing in procurement, risk management and operational performance across the construction and quarrying sectors.

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001 certifications are increasingly specified in tender requirements across the construction and quarrying sectors. Once viewed as an advantage, certification is now becoming a key requirement for businesses seeking to secure new contracts and support future growth.

Auva are aligning with two key industry themes that this year’s show focuses on: sustainability and cybersecurity. Hillhead’s adoption of ISO 20121:2024, alongside initiatives such as HVO fuel, recycled materials, and solar-powered generators, mirrors the wider shift towards ISO 14001 environmental management systems.

In addition, rising cyber threats and data security risks continue to drive interest in ISO 27001 as organizations seek to protect sensitive information and intellectual property.
