MPQC

 Mineral Products Qualifications Council (MPQC) and The Institute of Quarrying (IQ) will be sharing stand H2, underlining their collaborative approach for the benefit of both individuals and businesses in the mineral products sector. Visitors can talk with both membership organisations and understand how, together, IQ and MPQC can achieve more for their respective members.

The IQ/MPQC stand will be staffed to answer questions, with specialisms in areas such as membership, education and training, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), future skills, approved industry standards and regulated qualifications, apprenticeships, Minerals Matter, and the IQ Benevolent Fund (IQBF).

MPQC’s training division, MP Skills, will be discussing opportunities to join their apprenticeship cohorts for level two mobile and static plant operations and will also be reviewing feedback on the MOET apprenticeship proposed scheme of work. In addition, as part of the safer by competence strategy, MP Connect will be showcasing its value to drivers, contractors, and businesses.  

Minerals Matter will be hosting the visit of students from two local schools, in collaboration with other industry exhibitors, to inspire the next generation with the exciting challenges and career opportunities within the mineral products sector.
