Company to focus on new advanced magnet-manufacturing technology at Hillhead 2018
Northern Ireland-based ConveyorTek have recently commissioned and installed new and modern magnet-manufacturing equipment and production facilities at one of their plants, to support the company’s rapid growth in the manufacture of conveyor magnets and metal-separation systems.
The advanced manufacturing technology, to be showcased on stand PA22 at this year’s Hillhead show, will significantly improve ConveyorTek’s output capacity and efficiency, as well as ensuring the consistent production of high-performance magnets.
Joe McCaughey, metal separation business development manager for ConveyorTek, said: ‘This investment is a real game changer for the company and the introduction of new, modern equipment, in conjunction with our R&D facility and expanding engineering team, makes ConveyorTek a main player in the conveyor magnet market.’
The company designs and manufactures a wide range of metal-separation equipment, including: permanent, drum and electro-magnets; eddy current separators; and metal detectors.
Over the last few years ConveyorTek have seen rapid growth in their metal-separation division and currently export 80% of all products to 15 different countries. The manufacturer recently signed new distributor agreements for the US and Australian markets.
In addition to metal-separation products, ConveyorTek manufacture a wide range of conveyors for the bulk-handling industry and are well-established suppliers of conveyor components and site services.
