Bobcat to feature company’s latest compact excavator, loader, telehandler and attachment ranges
The Bobcat stand at Hillhead 2018 will feature models from the company’s latest compact loader, compact excavator, telehandler and attachment ranges, including the first appearance in the UK of the new Bobcat R-Series compact excavators from 2 to 4 tonnes. Another product being shown for the first time at Hillhead is the new TL30.70 compact telehandler, which provides a maximum lift capacity of 3 tonnes and a maximum lift height of nearly 7m.
Bobcat will also be continuing their celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the world-famous Bobcat skid-steer loader at Hillhead. Over the last 60 years, Bobcat’s commitment to quality, workmanship and innovation has helped to maintain market leadership, so that one in every two skid-steer loaders sold today is still a Bobcat machine.
The new range of five R-Series compact excavator models – the E26, E27z, E27, E34 and E35z – offers a best-in-class mix of high digging forces, stability and smooth controllability of working functions, complemented by low weights for easy transportation.
The new excavators, which introduce many state-of-the-art features and offer enhanced levels of quality, robustness, operator comfort and functionality, utilize newly developed flexible machine platforms that allow different configurations of models and specifications to suit a wide range of applications and customer needs.
While retaining proven, easy-to-maintain mechanical injection engines, all R-Series models meet the upcoming European Stage V engine emission regulations.
The new TL30.70 telehandler from Bobcat is designed for a wide range of applications in the construction and rental industries, and provides a compact and cost-effective alternative to larger 7m models, especially where working space is tight and increased manoeuvrability is required.
The compact yet stable TL30.70 offers a maximum reach of 4m with a load of more than 1 tonne, whilst at maximum lift height the machine can lift up to 2 tonnes of weight, which is sufficient to place a pallet of heavy bricks in most conditions.
The new TL30.70 is part of the Bobcat range of 12 user-friendly telehandler models, covering maximum lifting capacities between 2.6 tonnes and 4.1 tonnes with lifting heights from 6m to 18m. All the models in the range are covered by a three-year/3,000h warranty as standard.
Also on display will be several attachments that form part of a large array available from Bobcat for use with the company’s compact loaders, compact excavators and telehandlers, highlighting the company’s one-stop-shop approach.
