Institute of Quarrying encourages members to record their visit on its bespoke CPD recording App
It’s official! Hillhead, the world’s biggest quarrying exhibition, has sold out of exhibition space. With more than 500 exhibitors, exciting product demonstrations and some 18,500 visitors expected at this year’s bigger and better event, Institute of Quarrying (IQ) members will earn valuable continuing professional development (CPD) when they attend the show.
IQ makes recording CPD very simple. Members have access to the Institute’s bespoke CPD recording App, available through both the Apple and Google Play stores. The App provides a simple yet intuitive way to easily record and store CPD records in one place.
James Thorne, the IQ’s chief executive officer, said: ‘Getting the opportunity to talk to leading manufacturers and suppliers, seeing the latest technological advances and learning about the latest developments affecting the industry should not be missed! So, if you are planning to attend Hillhead, remember to record your visit on our bespoke App or however you choose to record your CPD.’
Hillhead runs for three days from 26–28 June at Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, and IQ is proud to sponsor the new online planning tool ‘Engage’, which has been introduced by the organizers of Hillhead – The QMJ Group – to help visitors more effectively plan their time at the show. The easy-to-use web tool helps the visitor to build a wish list of exhibitors to visit, along with the option to pre-book appointments, and makes recommendations of ‘not to be missed’ show features right at the visitor’s fingertips.
The IQ stand at Hillhead (RB26) is right at the heart of the Registration area, and IQ is encouraging both members and non-members to call in order to discover the latest membership and skills developments available. Raffle tickets will also be handed to members who show their membership card, with a range of IQ branded merchandise up for grabs.
