Making The Most Of Hillhead 2009

Product selection & Display

As a general rule:
  • Avoid cluttering your stand with too many products, rather highlight key products on the stand and (indoors) restrict yourself to graphics and printed matter to support less-essential products.
  • Models of large products can often be useful if stand space is at a premium.
If you have a problem selecting which products to display, ask yourself:
  • Which products are key to your marketing objectives?
  • Which products are new, or at least new to your target market at Hillhead?
  • Which products would benefit from being demonstrated in the unique environment of Hillhead Quarry?
  • Are there any particularly eye-catching products that would attract visitors to your stand?
  • Make sure you have the space on the stand for people to move freely around your products.
  • Make sure the stand is laid out in such a way that visitors cannot trip over exhibits, cables etc.
Always consider the statistical breakdown of the audience:
  • This will help you to decide both what products will appeal to the largest audience and how to display them.
  • The Hillhead visitor analysis is available on the exhibition web site - www.hillhead.com
  • Graphics can also be used to show your equipment in different environments.
