Making The Most Of Hillhead 2009

Contents

Demonstrating your products

  • Have a schedule for demonstrations before the activity starts.
  • Make sure that everyone present has a clear idea of what key features and benefits you are about to show them.
  • If the demonstration area is likely to be noisy, consider issuing ear-defenders fitted with a radio receiver in order that onlookers can hear a commentary.
  • If so, employ a professional commentator and use a degree of humour in the script.
  • Don't let your audience move off without interaction with your sales staff and have a handout that summarises what onlookers have seen.
  • Remember always seek permission from the organisers well in advance of the show before setting-up any demonstration.
