Zenith Survey Equipment are one of the leading survey and safety equipment suppliers in the UK, with a large modern hire fleet and full service and repair facilities. This year Zenith will be presenting the Datum iDig machine control tool, a revolutionary new system that allows the machine operator to precisely perform a level check with every pull of the bucket. A simple once-only set-up procedure allows the iDig system to 'learn' the dimensions of the machine. It is then able to calculate, in real time, where the bucket tip is in relation to the target depth. The initial set-up takes less than 1h to complete, after which the system then takes just minutes to get going on the next job site - simply turn the excavator key and the system starts. Uses include cut and fill, general grading, foundations, forms and footings.
