Takeuchi will be making their first appearance at Hillhead in 2012. The Japanese mini-excavator specialists have a range of machines from 1 to 14 tonnes and will exhibit new models and new attachments at the event.

The new TB285 is Takeuchi's latest 8.5-tonne excavator. Just arrived in the UK, the TB285 replaces the popular TB175 model with an extra 1-tonne operating capacity. A very compact machine for this weight class, the new TB285 offers a larger cab, extended ground reach and increased breakout force.

A show highlight will be the largest excavator in the Takeuchi range - the TB1140. This 14-tonne, high-specification machine is packed full of features for the specialist contractor or owner operator.

The reduced tail-swing 180FR model will also be on display, while machine attachments on show will include the company's new range of super-silent breakers that offer significant reductions in noise levels, higher blow frequency and improved serviceability.
