Rockmate Ltd (formerly Rockmate Technical Services Ltd), developers of solutions for intelligent mining and quarrying, will be exhibiting their smart technology to optimize blasting patterns, thus controlling fragmentation, costs and vibration, and reducing the risk of flyrock. The company's systems are used in several countries in Europe and as far afield as China. They are designed to be used by shotfirers as opposed to office-bound blasting engineers. Solutions include technology to monitor the quality of the blast in real time. Shovel production technology allows management to measure production in real time, which in turn allows them to manage their operation more effectively. Rockmate will also be displaying: face-profiling systems, stockpile measurement systems, radio-telemetry solutions, shovel proximity sensors, and fuel-cell technology.
