Mineral Products Association

The Mineral Products Association (MPA) is the trade association for the aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, dimension stone, lime, mortar and silica sand industries. With 430 members across the UK, it is the sectoral voice for mineral products.

Representing the vast majority of independent SME companies throughout the UK as well as the nine major international and global companies, the MPA engages with a host of stakeholders and provides a vast range of services and guidance. Information and samples of the MPA's key activities - ranging from licence-to-operate issues to production, marketing and technical/standards aspects of sustainable products - will be available, and MPA experts will be on hand to answer any questions.

Of particular interest will be the Safer by Competence range of initiatives, which aim to help members achieve a fully competent workforce focused on delivering Zero Harm. In addition, at this year's show the MPA will be launching its new initiative, Safer by Partnership, which is specifically aimed at reducing contractor injuries and ill-health.
