Marubeni-Komatsu, sole UK distributors of Komatsu mining and quarrying machines, are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. On display at Hillhead 2012 will be the new Komatsu HD785-7 rigid dumptruck and a range of brand new Stage 3b-compliant models including the D65-17 dozer, HM400-3 articulated dumptruck and PC490LCD-10 hydraulic excavator. Visitors to the company's stand will be able to take a closer look at a Komatsu-designed Stage 3b engine and DPF (diesel particulate filter). These new engines have been developed to reduce emissions, increase power and use less fuel, and are designed to work in harmony with Komatsu electronics, pump control and hydraulic systems.
