Gemex
Gemex is a hydraulically operated system, distributed in the UK and Ireland by Novusgot, designed to simplify the installation of belt-drive power transmissions and remove the difficulties associated with conventional systems. It allows efficient maintenance when changing belts and makes checking the belt tension quicker and easier, improving overall equipment operation. A standard horizontal Gemex unit will be on display to demonstrate the basic principles of operation. Different models are available depending on motor size and application but all function in the same way ensuring belt drive transmission work better in a more controlled way and providing the opportunity to adopt 'best practice procedures and reduce energy costs. Developed in Sweden by Gema Industri AB, the Gemex system has been adopted as standard in many applications where traditional systems fail to provide the reliability
