Cantech

Control specialists Cantech will be exhibiting their range of state-on-the-art PC-based control systems. The central feature illustrates how control systems for batching of asphalt and concrete, crushing/screening and loading out of blended aggregates can all be combined into one control room. The emphasis is on providing a healthy working environment away from the hazards of dust, vibration, noise and traffic movements, as well as highlighting cost savings and increased staffing flexibility gained by centralizing control in this way. Other developments, such as wireless-linked displays giving dumper/truck drivers a facility to monitor bin levels and initiate loading out from within their cabs, or remote moving of shuttles/trippers for aggregate feed into concrete plants, will also be on show.

Experienced personnel will be on hand to illustrate how the systems gather and process data, leading to efficiencies in the use of energy and expensive raw materials and improved (preventative) maintenance scheduling.
