Part of GWP Consultants LLP, Blast Log Ltd are a specialist consultancy providing services in the areas of blasting, vibration, air-overpressure and noise for the quarrying and mining industries, and to applications including demolition, tunnelling and civil engineering. The company combines experienced industry-based blasting consultants with blasting engineers who work at the forefront of blasting research and develop state-of-the-art monitoring technology to ensure that the very best techniques and knowledge are applied to clients' needs.
Blast Log's range of expertise include: vibration; air-overpressure; noise monitoring (single monitoring events through to long term monitoring projects where units and data are accessed remotely), design, build and installation of bespoke vibration monitoring equipment; and the Blast Log system, a blasting management tool invaluable for proactive blast design and vibration limit management. In addition, Blast Log provides drill and blast auditing and optimization services in the UK and overseas, blast design, including the prediction of electronic detonator timings to minimize vibration levels, and face profiling services using the 3G Blast Metrix System.
